The Amarone Acinatico is produced from the finest selection of grapes from the vineyards of Negrar and Cavalo after a 120-day withering process and a long aging in oak barrels and large casks. It is a wine of great structure, complexity, elegance, and velvety texture. Its color is a deep garnet red with a warm, spicy bouquet and aromas of dried fruits. It is a wine that can withstand long aging.
Located in the two historic villages of the Valpolicella Classico region falling within the hilltop town of Negrar. At an altitude of 200 to 300 meters above sea level, facing southwest, and from the new vineyards of Cavalo di Fumane at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The soil type is varied, alluvial.
