COLOR: Straw yellow with golden reflections.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 6º-8º

ALCOHOL: 12,5% vol.

TASTE: Smooth, creamy and with cereal notes, along with white fruits with a hint of ripeness. Light acidity and a long and enveloping aftertaste.

VINIFICATION AND AGING: The grapes are hand-picked at night in the second half of August (the winery’s first and earliest harvest) to avoid spontaneous fermentation of the fruit. The grapes are transported in 150 kg pallets to the winery, where they are destemmed in stainless steel tanks before fermentation.

Vinification begins with fermentation, which starts spontaneously in stainless steel tanks and then moves to French oak barrels, where the alcoholic fermentation is dried for 48 months. The wine then rests on its own lees in a refrigerated chamber for 6 months before being clarified and bottled.

TASTING NOTES: A wine of great purity and brightness, straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose it is very aromatic, with floral notes that contrast with a complexity of aromas reminiscent of pineapple, honey or banana. The palate is smooth, creamy with cereal notes and ripe white fruit. Light acidity and a long, enveloping aftertaste.

Mina de Oro is the way of gold. The path that leads deep into the earth, in the form of a golden vein.

Like the roots of the Viognier vine, from which we extract the fruit of Mina de Oro. The shining treasure in the form of wine. Fermented in barrels, as unusual as Spain. As surprising as the search for the golden vein that we are all looking for deep inside and that surprises us so much when we find it.
