Wine with a ruby red color tending to pomegranate, enveloping a sweet and persistent taste with great structure. A clear and spicy aroma of cherry and berries.
Grape variety: Sangiovese
Production and harvest: early thinning of the grapes, average production 1.5 kg per plant – late harvest with careful selection of the grapes.
Vinification: 15 days maceration of the grapes, vinification under controlled fermentation temperature. Matured for 12 months in large barrels and a further 12 months in the bottle.
Suitable dishes: red meat, game and venison.
Serving temperature: 18°C and uncorked early.
