The Passito Amandorlato, the newly launched wine by our company, is part of the range of finest products selected by the Accordini family only during the best harvests and for which we dedicate the utmost attention. An intense aging of six years in small cherry wood barrels gives the Passito Amandorlato a unique character that represents one of the best expressions of the Valpolicella tradition. The bitter note provided by the cherry wood is finely balanced by the sweetness, making it a wine intermediate between Amarone and Recioto.

Called “il Fornetto,” the vineyard is located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica in the hilly area under the town of Negrar. Altitude of 200 to 230 meters above sea level. Southeast exposure. Soil type: very varied, alluvial. On dry terraces.

Aged in cherry wood barrels for 6 years. Bottle aged for 12 months.

Excellent at the end of the meal, it pairs very well with chocolate desserts.

Serve at a temperature of 10°-12°C.
