Description
Perla Nizza Barrique is a Nizza Barbera that gains texture and aromatic depth from careful barrel ageing. Ripe cherry and blackberry form the core, while vanilla and light toasty notes from oak add nuance. The wine keeps a fresh backbone — Barbera’s natural acidity prevents heaviness and keeps the palate lively. Polished tannins provide structure and length, so the wine pairs well with roast lamb, braised beef or mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18 °C. Drinking window: best now to roughly 8–12 years depending on vintage; cellaring will integrate oak and develop tertiary notes. Positioning: juicy and spicy — a robust, food-friendly Barbera with a touch of refinement.
