LA BORDERIE Trois Contrées
37,00 € TVA incl.
The Trois Contrées cuvée elaborated by Marie and Simon Normand is an elegant and floral champagne, which will be appreciated as an aperitif or with a starter thanks to its slightly spicy touch.
It is a champagne that blends 3 grape varieties from 3 different terroirs of the Côte des Bar (Aube). The Pinot Noir which represents 70% of the blend comes from the Merrey-sur-Arce terroir and is partly vinified in oak barrels. The Chardonnay (23%) comes from Ville-sur-Arce, while the Pinot Blanc (7%) is from the village of Bar-sur-Seine.
After bottling, the champagne waits 30 months in the house cellars to develop its aromatic complexity and intensity. Its dosage is Extra Brut.
The Cuvée Trois Contrées from Domaine de La Borderie has a pale gold colour with amber reflections.
On the nose, it is an elegant and floral champagne, which after a few moments reveals spicy and dried fruit notes.
On the palate, this cuvée begins with a frank and ample mouth, revealing a nice fruity substance in the middle of the mouth. The finish is firm, tense and vibrant.
