Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, intense aroma of black berry confit, fine spice of noble wood, a hint of vanilla, juicy, elegant, fine fruit sweetness in the finish, blackberry in the aftertaste, chocolate touch (Falstaff).
Maturation: Barrique
For this wine we use the rare variety Rathay as a cuvee partner at a share of about 40%. Rathay itself is partially resistant to mildew fungi and very winter-hardy. It brings a lot of colour, power as well as structure to the wine and can be regarded as a kind of “organic variety”. Grande Cuvée is, so to speak, the little brother of our MASSIV Red.
