BRIGITTE BEAUFORT Blanc de Blancs 2012 Grand Cru

The Blanc de blancs cuvées are made exclusively from Chardonnay, when this grape variety has benefited from the exceptional climatic conditions to reach the most beautiful maturity. 2012 is the first vintage of this rare cuvée and comes from a single parcel “Le Mont des Tours”. As a lover of racy and mineral champagnes, this cuvée is just right for you! It is a delicate champagne with generous notes of white-fleshed fruit and a lovely mineral length that combines acidity, power and freshness. It goes perfectly with a turbot with champagne sauce.

Aroma: Floral of white and yellow flowers, crisp fruitiness, fragrant spicy brioche with a hint of vanilla.

Palate: A minerality is immediately perceptible on the palate, then a fruity crunch of pear and apple. Complex and direct with vanilla notes of butter and pastry. Long, powerful and chalky finish.

The harvest began on 19 September. A strong cold snap in February and then many climatic risks in spring made us wait for the worst… Fortunately, we had nice summer weather from mid-July to harvest. The Chardonnays benefited greatly and proved to be of rare quality.
