TYPE OF GRAPE: Monastrell

COLOR: Deep red with ruby reflections

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14 to 16 degrees

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 15% vol.

AROMA: Expressive and intense aroma with notes of red and black fruits, sweet smoky and sweet spices resulting from the ageing process. On the palate, it is honest with a lively freshness that testifies to the vintage and is supported by its fruity character.

TASTE: Broad and voluminous on the palate, with fine tannins and a long-lasting finish where you can enjoy its complexity. A unique red wine that conveys our homeland and our philosophy.

VINIFICATION AND MATURATION:
The grapes are collected by hand in 10/15 kg crates. Transported with great care to the cellar, moving to a cold room 24 hours a day at 6ºC. Later, it is selected at the table, choosing the best grapes before covering and vinification.

Fermentation takes place over a period of 8 to 10 days at a temperature not exceeding 24/26ºC. The wine remains in contact with the macerated skins for a period of between 10 and 15 days.

The red wine matures for 12 months in American and French oak barrels.

GOES WELL WITH THE FOLLOWING DISHES:
Steak with mushrooms, hare, partridge, lactating goat’s leg, lamb, smoked meat, stews and rice with meat. Fish, e.g. hake, salmon, cod and bluefin tuna. Smoked cheese, blue cheese and matured cheese in general.
