Sigrid is a dry, sparkling apple wine. It is made from late-harvested Danish apples Ingrid Marie, Jonagold and Belle De Boskoop. In the Nordic climate, the apples enjoy optimal conditions. The temperature differences between the cool nights and the long, bright days give the apples a long ripening period, which develops a fantastic aroma and a unique acidity profile. The must is fermented during the winter at low temperatures and the wine is then fermented a second time in the bottle. The wine is stored for at least 24 months before being released.
Sigrid is served chilled and is recommended as a different and exquisite aperitif or as a perfect accompaniment to fish, seafood, poultry and light meat dishes.
